Plans for 2025

In 2025, we’re gearing up for transformative growth and expanded impact across Madagascar. Our plans include 10 medical safaris to eight locations, the launch of a new mobile clinic program, and expanded hygiene and clean water initiatives. We’ll also be commissioning a new hovercraft, refurbishing our bases, and building partnerships with other organisations to support critical missions.

significant strides in medical missions and water & sanitation
projects.

HoverAid Partners with Vanillabazaar

HoverAid has partnered with Vanillabazaar, a Madagascan vanilla company, to support life-changing work in Madagascar. A percentage of Vanillabazaar’s revenue will be donated to HoverAid, allowing customers to enjoy high-quality vanilla while making a difference.

MMS Ambatolahy: Sept’24

The medical mission to Ambatolahy involved overcoming delays, a long journey, and logistical challenges, as the team treated cases like hypertension and appendicitis for patients who travelled over 100 km, all while contending with heat and a water shortage.

MMS Ankavandra: Sept’24

The medical mission to Ankavandra faced extreme heat, insecurity from nightly bandit gunfire, and a harrowing surgery to save a gunshot victim, yet the team successfully treated numerous patients and showcased their work to visiting partners in this remote area.

Emily’s Trip to Madagascar: Sept’24

Emily’s journey to Madagascar was filled with challenges, unforgettable moments, and impactful experiences. From testing the River Rover 403 and hovering gracefully over lily pads in the Vortex 5 hovercraft to joining a critical medical mission in Ankavandra, Emily exemplified dedication and heart. Her story reminds us that volunteers are the lifeblood of HoverAid’s work, helping us bring essential care to the most remote corners of Madagascar.
