After serving with the Royal Green Jackets in the British Army and being a member of the British Hovercraft Expedition to China in 1990, Gwyn had a 32 year career in aircraft leasing. Gwyn and his wife, Sue, are now involved with various trusts and local organisations.

Associate Director at Cambridge University, responsible for securing philanthropic support to broaden student access. Graduate in modern languages. Anna spent a year as an outreach worker in Novosibirsk, Russia. She supports and advises on HoverAid’s fundraising initiatives.

Medical degree and now a Doctor in Oxford, training to be a psychiatrist. Apphia spent a year in Madagascar as a medical student. She advises on developments in remote medicine practices, diagnostic and surgical equipment, to support our core Madagascar Medical Safari work. Elite rugby player.

Degree in History and French, specialising in African history. Now a policy advisor in Sustainable Development at the UK Department for International Trade. Spent 2 years as consultant in health and wellbeing with Baxendales, and 4 months in Madagascar with HoverAid as communications volunteer.
Neil Greenham

PhD in Supramolecular Chemistry. He is now Principal Scientist at Johnson Matthey developing new catalytic converters to clean up emissions from diesel vehicles. His work combines science and engineering. His focus is on HoverAid’s technical (hovercraft) development and build. He is a trustee for a national orchestra, concert manager, French horn player, and keen runner and cyclist.
Pierre Deludet

Originally from France, Pierre studied theoretical physics before working in finance in London for Moelis & Co. He has worked primarily with companies based in developing countries and is passionate about bringing infrastructure and resources to the less fortunate. Pierre joined HoverAid’s Board in September 2019 and advises on strategic, governance, and financial issues.

Senior nurse at Papworth Hospital. Worked with HoverAid extensively in Madagascar supporting community health programmes. Long-standing HoverFriend. Coordinates the organisation of our fund-raising challenges such as long-distance runs, which she has also been known to participate in.
