After years of design, engineering, fundraising and volunteer effort, HoverAid’s newest RiverRover hovercraft, Faith, is now at work in Madagascar — helping our teams reach communities that conventional vehicles simply cannot.
Faith is already supporting HoverAid’s work in the Mangoky River region, transporting medical teams, clean-water projects and vital equipment into some of Madagascar’s most isolated communities.

The team carried out 598 consultations and procedures during the mission, while also remembering their much-missed colleague, Dr Elisoa, whose legacy was deeply felt throughout the week.

2026: The Year So Far…
The first six months of 2026 have been some of HoverAid’s busiest and most encouraging yet. Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, volunteers and partners, 13,798 people have already received medical care this year through our Mobile Medical Safaris and Mobile Medical Clinics.
MMS Belo Sur Tsiribihina: Jun’26
HoverAid’s Mobile Medical Service (MMS) returned to Belo-sur-Tsiribihina in June, bringing vital healthcare to hundreds of people living in one of western Madagascar’s most remote communities.
