WASH (Community Health Programme) – Mar’26

March was the busiest field month of 2026 so far for HoverAid’s Community Health and WASH Programme. Across the month, three major activities were carried out simultaneously: cyclone recovery assessments in Ambatoboeny, advance preparations in Beroroha, and visits to local partner communities in Soatana.

Together, these activities reflect the wide-ranging nature of the programme – supporting clean water, sanitation, community partnerships and resilience in some of Madagascar’s most remote areas.

Baby Avotra – Beroroha April 2026

This lady was in labour at her village some distance from the medical facility in Beroroha. The baby was in a transverse position, and the midwife in their village couldn’t deliver her and sent her to the Beroroha hospital.

Mobile Clinics – Mar’26

In March 2026, HoverAid’s Mobile Medical Clinic (MMC) teams continued delivering essential healthcare to remote communities across Madagascar – reaching hundreds of patients each week through a combination of full missions and day visits.

MMS Ambatolahy: March’26

Each year, HoverAid’s Medical Safari programme begins in Ambatolahy, bringing vital healthcare to communities where access to medical services is limited. In March 2026, our team once again travelled to the region to deliver consultations, surgery, diagnostics and treatment to hundreds of people in need.

Champion Fundraisers of 2026!

Fundraising is at the heart of everything we do at HoverAid. From running marathons to hosting bake sales, every pound raised helps us reach some of the most remote communities in Madagascar with life-saving medical care. It is the dedication, creativity and generosity of our supporters that enables us to continue this vital work – and we are constantly inspired by the incredible ways people choose to get involved.

Mobile Clinics – Feb’26

In February, HoverAid Madagascar’s Mobile Medical Clinic (MMC) teams continued delivering vital healthcare to remote communities across the country.

Mobile Clinics – Jan’26

January marked a busy start to the year for HoverAid Madagascar’s Mobile Medical Clinic (MMC) teams, delivering vital healthcare to remote communities despite challenging rainy-season conditions.

During the month, the team operated clinics across four villages, bringing medical care directly to people who often have little or no access to healthcare services.
